The William Walker will be the seventh race on the card with a schedule 9:05 post time for the field of six. Todd Pletcher will saddle 7/5 morning line favorite Blofeld, an undefeated son of Quality Road who last raced November 2, winning the Grade 2 Nashua Stakes at Aqueduct. Blofeld won the Grade 2 Futurity Stakes at Belmont prior to that start and will attempt to maintain his perfect resume while making his fourth start at as many different tracks. Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez will be in the irons breaking from post two.
Cinco Charlie loves Churchill
Cinco Charlie (2/1) is a worthy second choice after an impressive juvenile campaign where the colt won the Grade 3 Bashford Manor Stakes at Churchill before going on to place third in the Grade 3 Sanford at Saratoga and Grade 2 Futurity Stakes at Belmont. The Steve Asmussen trainee has won six of ten career starts and figures to have a fitness edge on the favorite after running second in the February 21 Mine That Bird Derby at Sunland Park.
West coast shipper make comeback
The Bob Baffert-trained Holiday Camp (5/1), will try to upset the applecart while making his return to the races following a ninth-place finish in the Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity in September.
