Second choice at 5-2 on the morning line is Stormin Monarcho for trainer David Jacobson. A five-year-old gelded son of Monarchos, he is a nine-time career winner and is trying to rebound after finishing fifth as the favorite in the Native Dancer Stakes last time out at Laurel Park over a muddy main track and was fourth behind Micromanage two starts back. He won five of his thirteen starts last year and will be reunited with Cornelio Velasquez from post position six.

He has won four of his nineteen career starts and all four wins came on the lawn. He has been training steadily for his first start of the year and will get a jockey change to Dylan Davis from post position three.
