On Wednesday, Aqueduct will open with the $200,000 Tempted Stakes. Restricted to two-year-old fillies, the Grade 2 event will be run at one mile on the main track and has drawn a field of six.
Welcoming headlines the field as the morning line favorite at odds of 2-1 for trainer Christophe Clement. Purchased for $520,000 as a yearling, the gray filly is by top stallion Tapit and will be trying to earn her first stakes victory. After a fifth-place finish in her debut, she improved to second in her next start and broke through and broke her maiden last time out. Joel Rosario will be aboard and they will break from post position two.
Big World looking for second straight victory
Second choice at morning line odds of 5-2 is Big World for trainer Anthony Dutrow. A bay daughter of Custom for Carlos, she has been on the board in all three starts and was purchased for $98,000 as a yearling.
