Goldy Espony (FR), one of two horses in the race for trainer Chad Brown, has been tabbed as the favorite at odds of 2-1 on the morning line. A four-year-old daughter of Vespone (IRE), she has won six of her twelve starts and is a stakes winner both stateside and in her native France. She has won her last three starts and was most recently seen winning the Waya Stakes (G3) at Saratoga. Kendrick Carmouche will be aboard and they will break from post position six.
Eastern Belle (GB) trying for breakthrough victory
Graham Motion will saddle two competitors in the race including Eastern Belle (GB), the second choice at 3-1 odds. A four-year-old daughter of Champs Elysees (GB), she has been on the board in nine of her ten starts and will be trying to earn her second career victory. She was second in her last two races against graded stakes competition and will have Joh Velazquez in the irons from post position three.
Maximova attempting to rebound
Also in the field and a long shot at 15-1 is Maximova for trainer Christophe Clement. A five-year-old daughter of Danehill Dancer (IRE), she has won four of her fourteen starts and will be trying to earn her first graded stakes victory. Her last win was against optional claiming competition a year ago and she has been off the board in her last two starts. Jose Ortiz will be aboard from the rail as she tries to return to form.
